Jeffrey E. Thompson, MD. Chairman and Executive Advisor of Gundersen Health System (La Crosse, Wis.). In addition to being CEO and chairman of the boards of the Gundersen Health System, Dr. Thompson is a practicing pediatric intensivist and neonatologist. He has previously served as the system’s executive vice president and was a member of its board of governors and board of trustees. Dr. Thompson is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physician Executives and has published a number of books and articles on various topics in healthcare.
