Alan Guerci, MD. President and CEO of Catholic Health Services (Rockville Centre, N.Y.). Prior to being appointed president and CEO of Catholic Health Services in July 2013, Dr. Guerci served as executive vice president for CHS and CEO of CHS’ St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, N.Y., Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, N.Y., and St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage, N.Y. Additionally, he was director of the Coronary Care Unit at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and chairman of the Clinical Trials Review Committee of the Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Guerci is an associate professor of clinical medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City.
