Health System, Patewood orthopedic surgeons recently launched The Joint Restoration Institute, which conducts clinical research, develops technology and designs patient care plans based on effective, non-operative approaches to joint treatment. PMH is rated the No. 9 hospital for orthopedics in the nation, according U.S. News & World Report for 2016-17, substantiating the hospital as a leader in orthopedic innovation. The Joint Commission awarded PMH The Gold Seal of Approval for its total joint replacement program in 2013.
