Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta. This 410-bed hospital was brought under the Emory Healthcare umbrella in 2012 when its parent system, Catholic Health East, partnered with Emory. The Magnet-accredit hospital is rated as a high performing hospital in hip and knee replacement by U.S. News & World Report and designated as a Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee and Hip Replacement. This year, the hospital opened a new Orthopaedics & Spine Pavilion, outfitted with six operating suites and family-centered preparation and recovery areas.
