Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak, Mich.). Beaumont Health has recorded data in a tumor registry since 1973 to analyze and follow up with patients who have malignant or reportable benign disease. The health system includes a cancer genetics program as well as interventional oncology, and offers patients access to 165 clinical trials. Royal Oak-based Beaumont Hospital is one of three hospitals in Michigan to earn the BlueCross BlueShield Association’s Blue Distinction for Complex and Rare Cancers. In 2017, CareChex ranked Beaumont Hospital No. 2 in Michigan for cancer care.
