Since its opening in late 2000, Banner Heart Hospital has doubled in size from 60 to 111 beds and is currently staffed by 589 medical and surgical specialists. In 2016, Banner’s team performed 2,137 surgical procedures and 6,373 catheter procedures. To highlight the hospital’s success, Truven Health Analytics named Banner Heart Hospital among the nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in 2017.
