The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Center was awarded the National Cardiovascular Data Registry’s ACTION-Registry’s 2012 Platinum Performance Achievement Award, which is granted to hospitals that achieve consistent excellence in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction through implementation of American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association guideline recommendations. The Christ Hospital was also named one of the nation’s 50 top cardiovascular hospitals for 2013 by Truven Health Analytics. A Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction Plus Center for cardiac care, The Christ Hospital is also designated as a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
