St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (Phoenix)
Phoenix is home to the St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center, a top cardiovascular hospital according to Truven Health Analytics. St. Joseph’s boasts The Scott and Laura Eller Congenital Heart Center, one of the few centers in North America to provide comprehensive care for adults living with congenital heart disease, along with its multidisciplinary Cardiac Quality Committee, which includes cardiologists, surgeons, emergency physicians, nurses, patient educators, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. This teaching hospital received full atrial fibrillation certification status from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care in May and is an accredited chest pain center from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care for its expertise for dealing with patients experiencing symptoms of a heart attack.
