Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston). Texas Children’s Hospital ranks among the top 10 pediatric hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for 2016-17. The hospital excels particularly in pulmonology and cancer care — it earned No. 1 and No. 2 rankings from U.S. News for those specialties respectively among all pediatric hospitals in the country. In partnership with affiliate Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas Children’s this year launched the Global HOPE initiative to establish a pediatric hematology-oncology care network in sub-Saharan Africa.
