Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center (Los Angeles). Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center consistently ranks among the top hospitals in the country. For 2016-17, U.S. News & World Report ranked it No. 1 in California and No. 5 in the nation, and it has defended its spot among America’s top six hospitals for 27 years running. Its four-acre, 530-bed campus includes a neuropsychiatric hospital and a children’s hospital. The main 10-story hospital was entirely renovated in 2008 when it took on Ronald Reagan’s name and became one of the first total replacement hospital projects up to the state’s seismic safety requirements. Each floor of the hospital also features its own pharmacy, dialysis storage, respiratory therapy workrooms and resident physician sleep rooms.
