Holy Cross Hospital (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.). Holy Cross Hospital’s HealthPlex is home to the Orthopedic Institute and Leone Center for Orthopedic Care. Established in 2010, the Orthopedic Research Institute has published 17 peer reviewed articles in the past two years and is actively participating in five ongoing orthopedic clinical trials. In May, the hospital partnered with BridgeHealth to offer bundled pricing on hip and knee replacements for participating companies at prenegotiated rates. Holy Cross Hospital earned the Blue Distinction Center+ designation for knee and hip replacement in 2016, two years after CMS named the hospital among the top 25 in the nation for total joint replacements.
