University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals (Galveston).Between the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals' three labor and delivery locations in Galveston, Angleton and League City, the health system delivers roughly 5,500 infants each year. The facilities provide patients with a variety of services, including birthing suites, ICU beds for critically ill mothers, OR suites, 24-hour anesthesia support and 24-hour language assistance. The health system also offers psychology services targeted toward female patients, such as those with pelvic health disorders or who are victims of sexual abuse.
