Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center (Hartford, Conn.). The Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center contracts with physicians from 11 different orthopedic groups across Connecticut to offer patients comprehensive orthopedic care. Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center’s Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute has achieved annual certification from the International Standards Organization since 2014, demonstrating its commitment to clinical excellence. In March, CJRI launched Connecticut’s first outpatient joint replacement surgery program in a hospital setting. Over the past decade, surgeons performed more than 27,000 joint replacements at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and recorded outcomes in CJRI’s Center for Outcomes Research Registry, which has American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery credentials.
