Robert Cherry, MD. Chief Medical and Quality Officer of UCLA Health (Los Angeles). Dr. Cherry was selected as chief medical and quality officer of UCLA Health in January 2014. He is responsible for overseeing a staff of 2,000, comprising physicians and nonclinical employees. Prior to joining the four-hospital system, he worked as director of clinical and operational excellence at Navigant Consulting. He also served as CMO and vice president for clinical effectiveness at Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola University Medical Center. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Dr. Cherry also regularly consults on behalf of the American College of Surgeons.
