Joe Corcoran, DO. CMO of Brandon (Fla.) Regional Hospital. Dr. Corcoran worked for more than 20 years as an OB-GYN physician in private practice, where he delivered more than 3,000 newborns and performed or assisted on thousands of surgeries during his tenure. After working in private practice for more than two decades, Dr. Corcoran was appointed CMO of Brandon Regional Hospital, a 438-bed facility that serves as the flagship hospital for Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s West Florida Division. In 2008, he joined The Advisory Board Company as a director and faculty adviser with a focus on physician leadership development. Since joining the organization, Dr. Corcoran has worked his way up to senior medical director and provides his input on The Advisory Board’s clinical finance and revenue cycle management strategies, among other responsibilities.
