The 969-bed Thomas Jefferson University Hospital was ranked one of the best hospitals for orthopedics for 2014-15 by U.S. News & World Report. A Blue Distinction Center for both spine surgery and knee and hip replacement, the hospital’s providers perform more than 25,000 surgical procedures annually. Thomas Jefferson University Hospital has several orthopedic programs and services, including a musculoskeletal oncology center, orthopedic trauma services, a spine program and the Jefferson Shoulder and Elbow Center. Thomas Jefferson University Hospital also partners with the internationally renowned Rothman Institute and the Philadelphia Hand Center.
