Mon General Hospital’s roots trace back to the early 1900s and it was officially established in 1943 by an act of the Monongalia County Court. Since then, the 189-bed hospital has earned a reputation for outstanding care, including orthopedic services, and it has grown to include one of the largest networks of orthopedic surgeons in West Virginia. Mon General Hospital is a Blue Center for spine surgery and hip and knee replacement.
