The Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute sees more than 70,000 cardiac patients annually, and its physicians are trained in a variety of specialties, such as interventional cardiology, arrhythmia and ablation. The institute includes an advanced heart failure clinic, an open heart surgery program and a women’s heart health program. Since 1981, more than 82,000 open-heart procedures have been performed at the institute, and U.S. News & World Report has named the hospital one of the top 50 hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery for 2014-15.
