Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minn.). Mayo Clinic Cancer Center includes more than 350 scientists and physicians who work in tandem to treat all types of cancer. Designated as a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute, Mayo has 10 cancer-specific research programs and affiliations with the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups. U.S. News & World Report ranked Mayo No. 3 in the nation for cancer care in 2017-18, and the hospital was one of the top 10 recipients of NCI funding in 2016 with 106 awards totaling $70 million.
