The cancer center at University of California, Davis Medical Center has earned designation as a Blue Distinction Center for the treatment of Complex & Rare Cancers from BlueCross BlueShield. As one of just 47 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, UC Davis' cancer center is on the leading edge of developing and implementing biotechnologies in personalized cancer treatments. Researchers at UC Davis are also working to understand why cancer disproportionately affects certain populations and find methods to eliminate outcome disparities.
