Houston Methodist Hospital. One of Houston Methodist's six centers of excellence, Houston Methodist Cancer Center has catapulted the hospital to be nationally ranked (No. 44) for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report for 2016-17. The hospital offers treatment in 18 types of cancer. The director of Houston Methodist Cancer Center, Jenny Chang, MD, was selected this summer to serve on the Breast Cancer Working Group for the Cancer MoonShot 2020 program. The initiative has the goal to launch randomized Phase II trials for 20,000 patients of 20 tumor types at all stages of disease within the next 36 months..
