The Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital at OSU Wexner Medical Center offers heart care programs for structural heart disease, heart rhythm disorders and heart failure, among others. The medical center earned the No. 31 spot in the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals for Cardiology and Heart Surgery 2016-17 list. U.S. News & World Report also deemed the hospital high-performing in the areas of heart failure, bypass and aortic valve surgery in its common care ratings. The Heart Hospital is a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care and earned Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, making OSU the first health system in central Ohio to receive the accreditation.
