Thomas Owens, MD. Vice President for Medical Affairs and CMO of Duke University Health System (Durham, N.C.). Before being named to his current position, Dr. Owens held a number of medical leadership positions with Duke University Health System, including chief of the system’s hospital medicine program, co-director of the Duke internal medicine and pediatrics residency program and CMO of Duke University Hospital. He also serves as associate professor of medicine and pediatrics at the Duke University School of Medicine.
