Susan Melvin, DO. CMO of Long Beach (Calif.) Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Melvin was named CMO of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in 2012. She served as president and CEO of the Memorial Family Medicine from 1998 until 2011, when she became associate CMO of the hospital. Additionally, Dr. Melvin has served on the system’s board of directors, chaired its physician society and currently is a clinical professor at the University of California Irvine College of Medicine and the Western University of Health Sciences’ department of family medicine in Ponoma, Calif.
