Scott Nygaard, MD. Chief Medical Officer for Physician Services of Lee Memorial Health System (Fort Myers, Fla.). Dr. Nygaard joined Lee Memorial Health System in September 2010. Previously, he was senior vice president for corporate services at Wichita, Kan.-based Via Christi Health. At Lee Memorial, Dr. Nygaard oversees operations of Lee Physician Group, a 400-provider multispecialty group practice, as well as hospital-contracted physician groups and ambulatory and continuum of care services. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Nygaard earned an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.
