Robert Cherry, MD. Chief Medical and Quality Officer of UCLA Health (Los Angeles). Prior to being named chief medical and quality officer of UCLA Health System in January 2014, Dr. Cherry served as director of clinical and perational excellence at Navigant Consulting, and CMO and vice president for clinical effectiveness at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has authored numerous scientific articles. Dr. Cherry’s previous administrative roles include associate chief quality officer and trauma program medical director of Penn State Hershey Medical Center and chief of trauma and surgical critical care of Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center in New York, among others.
