John Popovich Jr., MD, Executive Vice President and CMO of Henry Ford Health System. In addition to serving as executive vice president and CMO of Henry Ford Health System, Dr. Popovich is president and CEO of Henry Ford Hospital, making him the hospital’s first physician leader in more than 40 years. He held a number of administrative roles with Henry Ford prior to his current position, including serving as division head of pulmonary and critical care medicine, chair of the internal medicine department and senior vice president of clinical affairs for the system. Dr. Popovich is past chair of the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a faculty appointment at Wayne State University’s School of Medicine in Detroit.
