Ihor Sawczuk, MD. Executive Vice President and CMO for Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center. Dr. Sawczuk first came to HackensackUMC in 2001 as chair of the department of urology from his prior position on the medical staff at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. In his more than 25 years in healthcare, Dr. Sawczuk has received numerous awards, including from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the New York Academy of Medicine and the American Heart Association. On April 4, Dr. Sawczuk will transition to president of HackensackUMC.
