Robin Sarkar, PhD. CIO of Lakeland Health (St. Joseph, Mich.). Dr. Sarkar has held several leadership roles at Lakeland Health, including assistant vice president of information systems and director of information technology. Under Dr. Sarkar’s leadership Lakeland Health received HIMSS’ Nicholas E. Davies Award of Excellence in 2014 as well as Hospital and Health Networks’ “Most Wired” award in 2015. Before joining Lakeland in 2013, Dr. Sarkar served as director of global information systems at Whirpool Corporation.
