Billings (Mont.) Clinic. With a staff of approximately 4,000 people — including 400 physicians — this 304-bed Montana hospital is one of the largest employers in the state. The hospital evolved from a single-physician practice founded by Arthur J. Movius, MD, in 1911 into a comprehensive multispecialty group practice providing care across more than 50 specialties. Billings Clinic is equipped with a 20-suite birthing center, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and a Level II emergency and trauma center.
