Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital. A group of volunteers established Waynesboro Hospital in 1922 in response to the Spanish influenza epidemic. The hospital is now a 56-bed facility with around 175 physicians on staff as of 2013. In 2015, the hospital opened a new medical office building to house several of its physician practices. Leapfrog gave the hospital an A safety grade in spring 2017 and Truven Health Analytics named it among the 100 Top Hospitals in the nation for the second time in 2017.
