Montrose (Colo.) Memorial Hospital. Montrose Memorial Hospital has more than 100 physicians across 23 medical specialties. The 75-bed nonprofit hospital was founded in 1950 by the county of Montrose and offers an expansive range of services including a Level III trauma center and a family birthing center. The National Rural Health Association awarded Montrose Memorial Hospital a spot on its Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals for 2017 list.
