Lake Region Healthcare (Fergus Falls, Minn.). Lake Region Healthcare came to fruition with the 1951 merger of St. Luke’s Hospital, opened in 1903, and Wright Memorial Hospital, opened in 1906. The hospital has an 80-member medical staff and 900 employees. Lake Regional is a recipient of The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation’s cardiac rehabilitation national certification.
