Cedar City (Utah) Hospital. Cedar City Hospital’s current facility was built in 2003, though its roots date back to 1963 when Cedar City replaced Iron County Hospital. Subsequent renovations and additions in to Cedar City were made between 2006 and 2012 to accommodate a growing patient population. This year, the National Rural Health Association named the 48-bed hospital among the Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals in the nation. Cedar City Hospital earned Healthgrades’ Outstanding Patient Experience Award in 2015 and 2016.
