Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton (Ga.). Clocking in at 201 beds, this acute care hospital serves the residents of west Georgia and east Alabama. The Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton campus includes the Tanner Heart and Vascular Center, the W. Steve Worthy Maternity Center, the Roy Richards, Sr. Cancer Center and 1.5 miles of walking paths, among other features. The hospital’s emergency department was newly built in 2013. iVantage named Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton as one of its Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital this year.
