French Hospital Medical Center (San Luis Obispo, Calif.). French Hospital Medical Center, part of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, is a 112-bed nonprofit facility. The hospital is particularly known for its cardiac, obstetrics and emergency services. In 2016, French Hospital Medical Center was named as a Truven 100 Top Hospital and received Healthgrades’ Pulmonary Care Excellence Award.
