Lakeview Hospital (Bountiful, Utah). This 128-bed, 210,000-square-foot hospital first opened in 1961. Today, it has a medical staff of more than 200 physicians representing more than 25 specialties and roughly 590 total employees. It has local governance by a board of trustees that includes seven community members and seven physicians. Lakeview Hospital has been recognized by several national organizations for excellence. For instance, Truven Health Analytics named it to its list of 100 Top Hospitals this year and the hospital received four awards from Healthgrades. It was also named as a HealthStrong Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics this year.
