Healthcare Supply Chain Association names Vizient’s Ricki Wilson chairperson for healthcare division

The Healthcare Supply Chain Association has named Ricki Wilson, director of supply chain informatics at Irving, Texas-based Vizient, chairperson of the HSCA’s Committee for Healthcare eStandards.

As chair, Ms. Wilson will play a leading role in guiding the work of CHeS to improve accuracy, efficiency and safety across the healthcare supply chain through the application of electronic standards.

At Vizient, Ms. Wilson is responsible for leveraging data standards in the organization’s tools and databases. Additionally, she supports Vizient’s clients in their implementation of data standards within their organizations, and works with suppliers and distributors on working with data standards to gain efficiencies in procurement and inventory management.

“Ricki Wilson’s deep experience ensuring acquisition, adoption and utilization of healthcare data standards makes her uniquely qualified to serve as chairperson of CHeS, a group dedicated to spreading such ideals across the healthcare supply chain,” said Curt Miller, executive director of CHeS. “Her leadership will help CHeS further advance healthcare eStandards, which are improving the entire industry by opening up the ways manufacturers, providers and patients communicate with one another.”
