25 top supply chains in 2017, as ranked by Gartner

London-based Unilever manages the highest-performing supply chain this year, according to Gartner's 2017 Supply Chain Top 25 list.

The list includes publicly traded companies in the manufacturing, retail or distribution sectors with annual revenue of at least $12 billion.

To compile the list, Gartner developed a composite score for each company based on the opinions of Gartner analysts, voting results from a panel of supply chain professionals, corporate responsibility practices and various company metrics, including return on assets, inventory growth and revenue improvements.
