7 Mississippi hospitals with the cleanest rooms, as reported by patients

The following is a list of hospitals in Mississippi for which 81 percent or more of patients reported on their HCAHPS surveys that their room and bathroom were "always" clean.

The figures are from CMS' Hospital Compare website and are from July 2014 through June 2015, the most recent data available.

For reference, Mississippi's average rate for patients reporting their room and bathroom were "always" clean is 74 percent, the same as the national average.

Note: Hospitals with insufficient data, such as having fewer than 100 completed HCAHPS surveys, were excluded.
