1. Cleveland Clinic signs 1st contract with Molina Healthcare of Ohio for Medicaid
Cleveland Clinic joined Molina Healthcare of Ohio's Medicaid network Aug. 1.
2. University of Chicago Medicine parts ways with Medicaid managed care plan
University of Chicago Medicine will drop its contract with Illinois Medicaid managed care plan IlliniCare Health next month.
3. Sparks Clinic physicians, UnitedHealthcare split ties
Sparks Clinic physicians in Forth Smith, Ark., went out of network with Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealthcare Aug. 1.
4. HealthAlliance, Empire strike tentative deal after more than year-long dispute
Kingston, N.Y.-based HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley and New York City-based Empire BlueCross BlueShield tentatively resolved an dispute ongoing since May 2016.
5. Mission Health, Aetna sign in-network agreement
Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health System and Hartford, Conn.-based Aetna inked a multiyear contract effective Oct. 1.
