Matthew Kline, 25, was admitted to the hospital Friday for an attempted overdose on aspirin and multivitamins. On Saturday afternoon, Mr. Kline jumped from the window in his room. He was pronounced dead at 1:19 p.m., according to the report.
A staffing coordinator responsible for watching Mr. Kline tried to grab his feet as he jumped out the window. A nurse also witnessed Mr. Kline leap from the bed and throw himself out the window, according to the report.
Police are investigating the death as a suicide.
