Although it has a new name, 340B Health, a membership organization of more than 1,000 public and private nonprofit hospitals and health systems that participate in the Public Health Service 340B drug pricing program, has the same mission — to be the leading advocate and resource for healthcare providers in the drug pricing program, according to a news release.
“Our new name reflects that a healthy 340B program enables health care organizations to provide vital services to their communities and save taxpayers money,” 340B Health President and CEO Ted Slafsky said in a statement. “That’s an affordable prescription for healthy communities.”
The organization’s new website address is is www.340bhealth.org.
