3 healthcare companies named to Fortune’s ‘Top 10 Most Successful American Companies’

Three healthcare companies — including a health IT vendor, an insurer and a retail pharmacy — were included in Fortune magazine’s 2015 list of the Top 10 Most Successful American Companies.

The list measures success by revenues generated, and includes companies in the Fortune 500.

The three healthcare companies that made the Top 10 list in 2015 include:

No. 5: McKesson (San Francisco) — 2015 revenue: $181.2 billion
No. 6: UnitedHealth Group (Minnetonka, Minn.) — 2015 revenue: $157.1 billion
No. 7: CVS Health (Woonsocket, R.I.) — 2015 revenue: $153.3 billion
