6 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. John Prout, president and CEO of Cincinnati-based TriHealth, is retiring. Mark Clement was named president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2016.

2. El Paso (Texas) Children's Hospital appointed George Caralis interim CEO.

3. Charles Sorenson, MD, president and CEO of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare, will retire as CEO in October of 2016.

4. Dayton (Wash.) General Hospital offered Shane McGuire the CEO position. Hospital officials now intend to negotiate terms of Mr. McGuire's employment contract.

5. Colt Hatcher was named CEO of Weatherford (Texas) Rehabilitation Hospital.

6. The University of Connecticut named Andrew Agwunobi, MD, executive vice president for health affairs and CEO of Farmington-based UConn Health.
