1. Healthy Communities Institute, based in Berkeley, Calif., offers a cloud-based platform that supports socioeconomic and community health information.
2. Once the acquisition is complete, Healthy Communities will be placed under the umbrella of Midas+, an operating unit of Xerox. Health Communities will be integrated into Midas+’s analytics platform Juvo Care Performance.
3. Midas+ provides services to more than 2,200 healthcare facilities. Health Communities serves more than 250 hospitals and public health organizations, according to the report. Once combined, the companies will be one of the largest repositories of population data.
