In the first quarter of 2016, telehealth platform Teladoc facilitated approximately 240,000 virtual visits, a 61 percent increase from the approximately 149,000 virtual visits completed in the first quarter of 2015.
Teladoc facilitated 10,000 more visits than it was projected to complete in the first quarter. A March 2 guidance projected total visits to total between 220,000 and 230,000, according to the company.
