St. Catherine Hospital is first in Kansas to achieve HIMSS Stage 7

HIMSS has given St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan., its EMR Adoption Model Stage 7 Award. The award makes St. Catherine Hospital the first in Kansas to reach Stage 7, the highest level attainable.

HIMSS Stage 7 hospitals are recognized for the ability to operate in a paperless environment and for representing best practices in EMR implementations.

St. Catherine Hospital is part of Englewood, Colo.-based Centura Health, and it is the 15th Centura Health hospital to reach HIMSS Stage 7.
