Due to financial problems, critical access facility Southern Inyo Hospital closed in 2015. It reopened earlier this year and is now managed and operated by Healthcare Conglomerate Associates.
The OpenVista EHR is an acute and inpatient platform based on the VistaA EHR created by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Indian Health Service.
According to the terms of the contract, Southern Inyo Hospital’s IT will be supported by Medsphere’s Phoenix Health Systems division.
