Here are three things to know.

1. Since February 2014, Updox has provided Practice Fusion with direct secure messaging.

2. Now, Updox will now provide Practice Fusion’s EHR platform users with electronic faxing and document management.

3. “While the use of direct messaging continues to grow, the reality is there is still a lot of faxing in healthcare. Practices don’t want to have two different systems to manage their communications. They want all types of messaging to be integrated within their EHR. We’re excited to expand our relationship with an industry leader like Practice Fusion to provide a great, unified experience to their users,” said Michael Morgan, CEO of Updox
